About Us

Benchmark is a Broadcast systems integrator and distribution house with its headquarters in Singapore. Established in 1986 in the USA, Benchmark moved its headquarters to Singapore in 1991. We are represented in India by our sister company Benchmark Microsystems Pvt. Ltd., with its headquarters in New Delhi and branches in Kolkata and Chennai.

Benchmark focuses in providing complete solutions for Broadcast and post production applications. The spectrum of services and products offered starts from simple add-on cards with software for specific applications and goes all the way to complete turnkey system integration services for setting up a totally new TV station or upgrading/modernizing existing ones. We also provide a whole range of services from pre-sale consultancy, through systems design and integration to installation and user training.

In addition to a wide network of dealers for providing backup support and user training, we also have technical teams of our own support engineers based at Singapore, New Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai.

Our role spans much more than that of a distributor; it is characterized by extensive technical support and depth of commitment as part of every operation. Benchmark has the distinction of consistently providing efficient pre- and post-sale support. These include configuration of comprehensive enterprise-wide solutions, application support, system installation and customer training and on several occasions, development of customized solutions.

Benchmark Systems (S) Pte. Ltd. is focused on providing cutting edge technologies for digital media creation, management and distribution. The company was set up with the intention of catering to needs/markets in South and South East Asia.

Our solutions

Non-Linear Editing systems, Graphics Systems, Compositing Stations, Character Generators, Still Store Systems, Animation Systems, News Editing Systems, etc. - all integrated into Central SAN/NAS storage systems controlled by News/Station Automation Systems. This methodology provides an end-to-end tapeless system all the way from Ingest, through Cataloging, Editing, Touchup, Effects, to Playout, completely eliminating the need for generation losses in Video quality and Video/Data transfer from place to place. Our software development group develops software in graphics, real-time data display, SMS to Video, Interactive TV and Video encoding/transmission.

We operate through a network of resellers in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, Indonesia, Philippines, Brunei, Vietnam, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan.
