Dynamic Soft Analysis, Inc. was founded in 1988, and is a company specializing in thermal analysis software for the electronics industry. BETAsoft is the market share leader in PC based thermal analysis software. The software is tailor made for board and component level thermal design.

The BETAsoft programs started as a development for a large telecommunications company. This led to the development of the first BETAsoft program, BETAsoft-Board. After BETAsoft-Board entered the market, Dynamic Soft Analysis made substantial changes to the program in response to user feedback. Special functions for avionic and space applications were added in 1990 along with the development of the UNIX programs.

The sister thermal analysis programs for electronic systems and for components were also introduced in the early 90's. The Windows version of BETAsoft-Board was released in 1994. Since 1994, all effort and revisions have been focused on the Windows platform.

We currently market BETAsoft-Board for board level thermal design, and BETAsoft-SiP/MCM for Sip, SoC, MCM, BGA, and component level packaging. There are close to 1000 users worldwide in space, avionic, networking, telecom, auto, medical instrumentation, PC, and power supply industries.
