OCTOPUS is a comprehensive newsroom system. You can use OCTOPUS to capture incomming information, manage data and video, speed search archives, write stories, choreograph the show and broadcast the rundown.

OCTOPUS controls all TV equipment needed for ingest of raw material, managing the media, playout of news and archiving. It uses Media Object Server Communications Protocol (MOS) to provide direct communication with broadcast production technology, such as the edit system, feed recording, video browser, on-air tape or server playback, CGs and more.

Using an internet browser as a client, operating OCTOPUS is as simple as surfing the web. Whether you are in the newsroom or on the road, the system is accessible from any internet-connected PC, notebook, handheld/palm computer or WAP enabled device.
