Fully hot-swappable controllers, disks, power supply and fan assemblies, full multi- pathing all the way to the individual disk drives, and a user-friendly management interface with comprehensive RAID features provides the EF2800 with all of the capabilities to drive mid-to-high end compute systems.

Starting with a single 3U high enclosure and embedded RAID controllers, more disk and disk chassis' may be easily added providing a high-performance, scalable and cost-effective platform for robust storage capability using enterprise Fibre-Channel disks.

Moreover, the EF2800 is easily upgradeable to the S2A-driven SAN, providing investment protection as well as a flexible and scalable SAN migration path.
